Dorothy Delores "Balky" Brown, 86, was born February 15, 1933 in Valley Falls, Kansas to LeRoy and Ida Mae (Moore) Fulton.

Dorothy received her formal education in the Valley Falls, Kansas Public Schools. She was employed at the United States Postal Service for over twenty years, from which she retired.

Dorothy was a faithful member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and working with the Mission and Benevolent ministries. She was also a biblical scholar.

Dorothy departed this life on August 23, 2019 at the home. She was preceded in death by both parents, LeRoy and Ida Fulton; five sons, Reginald Perkins, Tyrone Henderson, John Dickerson III, Gilbert Brown and Nathaniel Brown; and three grandchildren, Gawan Webb, Antoine Webb, and Tamika Webb.

Dorothy leaves to mourn her passing: three daughters, Willa Webb (George Sr.), Celestine Perkins, and Edrina Wade (Tommy); eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services Saturday, August 31, 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
