Earl Lee Graham, 76, KCMO, passed away on December 22, 2017 at the home. He was born August 13, 1941 in Mounds City, Kansas to the late Earl Lee Walker and Blanche Elizabeth Graham. In his early years he resided with his beloved uncle, Paul Graham, Sr. and aunt, Rebecca Sullivan who preceded him in death.
Earl was educated in Fort Scott Kansas School District, and later attended Penn Valley Community College where he earned several certifications.
Earl served in the United States Army as a medical technician. Early in his career he was employed with the Jackson County Jail and later with the U.S. Postal Service where he worked for over forty-five years until his retirement in 2011.
Earl enjoyed bowling, playing softball (Twin City) and barbequing for all of his family and friends until his health no longer allowed. He served as a mentor to many, and was also known for his keen sense of humor and willingness to always share a story.
He is survived by his loving wife, Calfretta Graham; three sons, Robert Banks (Moriah), Racior Graham (Delisha), and Willie Gerald, Jr; six daughters, Earlene Franks (Jerome), Tracey Norman, Michelle Graham-Parris, Angela Graham, Rená Simien (Kendol) and Willetta T. Roberts; twenty-eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends who he held dear.
Funeral services Saturday, December 30, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
