Elder Myron Anthony Hankins, Sr. was born May 12, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, the baby boy of Elder Richard and Myrtle Hankins.

Myron spent most of his early years in Chicago before relocating to California as a young adult.

Myron loved to fish and lovingly learned the skill from his mom. He was very funny and was known to crack jokes. From Chi-town to California; from California to Kansas City, he loved laughing and making others laugh.

He loved sports and his favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Lakers. He also loved spending time with his wife Diane. Together they loved to travel, shop, fish, spend time with their dogs, and take pictures of themselves dressed alike.

Myron was known to give great advice and had a huge heart for the ministry of God. He loved to lead others to God, making good use of his call as an elder.

Myron transitioned On Saturday, December 10, 2022. He is now reunited with his parents, 2 sisters, his brother (Fats), and a host of relatives that preceded him in receiving their wings.

Myron leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife and best friend Diane Hankins, sons Myron Jr. (Monique), and Marlin, daughters Jacqueline whom he nicknamed (Temoen), Charmaine, Monique (Chris), Lashana (Sergio) and Lawren (Ezra); 15 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his sisters Ruth and Richardene, his pet babies, Sheneneh, Leroy, and Nomas, and a host of family and friends that loved him.

We will always remember the fun and loving times we shared with you "Daddy" (Pops), Grandpa, "Big Daddy", "2-Pops", and "Uncle Waddy".

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Ministries, 7134 Prospect Ave., Kansas City, Mo 64130. Disposition Private.
