Ella Mae Jackson, 62, passed away on March 17, 2019 at the home. She was born on October 6, 1956 in Bonita, Louisiana to Ollie Taylor and Lee Daisy Sanders. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin "Louis" Gray, John Edward "Pee-Wee" Sanders, and her husband, Wayman Jackson.

Ella attended Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She went on to study cosmetology at House of Heavlin and later worked as a secretary in the banking industry.

Ella attended Turning Point Life Church under the ministry of Pastor Kevin Gamber.

She leaves to mourn her passing: two daughters, Nicketa Smith and Michelle Jackson; her mother, Lee Daisy Dailey; a sister, Vanessa Perkins; two granddaughters, Deanna and Kimora Weaver; nieces and nephews, Tamorah and Ty Avery, Johnathan Perkins, Danielle, Dustin, Lavon, and Charles Gray and Chevonda Williams; family friend, Lou Haynes and a a host other relatives friends.
