Obituary

Emma Gene Williams was beloved daughter born to Robert and Ivory White, September 25, 1950, in Kansas City Missouri.

Emma attended school in the Kansas City School District. After receiving her GED, Emma went on to practice nursing working as an LPN and retiring after over 30 years of service. Because of her nurturing spirit, Emma not only raised her 5 children, but also helped to raise her siblings and a child sibling of her 2nd husband.

Emma then went on to adopt her granddaughter (Lyric) as her own. Emma gave her life to Christ and attended church at Community Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Emma will always be remembered for her tantalizing peach cobbler and her turkey and dressing. She is known for her boisterous laugh and being a jokester. Her warm heart and laugh will live on forever in the hearts of those who know her.

Emma was preceded in death by her (father) Robert L. White Sr., (mother) Ivory White and her (son) James E. Jones.

Emma leaves to cherish her memory (son) Lee A. White, (daughters) Diasha W. Bradley, Tamara A. Jones, Imintrus E. Jones, and Lyric Jones. All of Kansas City Missouri.

Emma leaves behind 18 grandchildren, Brandi White, Danielle White, Tyrone Stamps, Dymun Johnson, Antwuann Jones, Adonijah Godbolt, Tyler White, Raevion Jones, Lee A. White Jr., Anjunae White, Leandra White, Tatum Lane, Chandler Douglas, Joshua White, Myla White, Mercei Bradley, and Kamaya Jones. Plus 17 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family prays that Emma will be remembered throughout the ages and her name will remain GREAT among those that knew her and are told of her.
