Obituary

Ethel Mae Turner was born in Paris, Texas to the parents of Ethard Bailey and Mertha Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sons Percy Eugene Turner III, and Glen Paul Turner. She was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Kansas, and was a member of the Real Estate Brokers of Missouri. She married the love of her life Percy Turner Jr., on December 18, 1955. Ethel was also an entrepreneur who owned a real estate business and pest control company. Ethel was a kind generous woman. She helped everyone she met, and a woman of action and great faith. Although she was a humble and quiet person, when she spoke it was heartfelt and impactful. She certainly was a mother to all she encountered. Ethel was called from labor to reward on June 16, 2022. Ethel leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of sixty-six years, Percy Turner, Jr., two daughters: Joyce Elaine Morrison of Kansas City, Missouri, Leslie Rene and her husband Ira Chandler of St. Louis, Missouri; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends; whose lives are forever changed by her passing.
