Our mother Mrs. Etta Louise Williams 85 passed away on May 5, 2024, at St. Lukes
South Hospital Kansas City, KS.
She was born February 21, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. She was one of five children born
to the union of Joseph and Lee Etta Mae Kingyon who also preceded in death biological
father "Vernon Allen", her husband Adge Williams Jr., her daughter Carla Williams, two
sisters Mary Walker, Rose Pleasure, two sons Roger Williams, Raymond V. Williams, one
granddaughter Chelsea Alashay Williams, and one great granddaughter Aleasia L.
Boyd.
Mrs. Etta graduated from R. T. Cole High School. She met Adge Williams Jr.in Kansas
City Missouri whom she married and with this union, 7 children were born.
She accepted Christ at a young age. She was a member of "Lady of Isis" Lodge #224
and later in life a faithful member of This Rock ChristianTabernacle Church.
Her work career began at the Ritz Hotel and then proceeded to General Motors. While
working at "GM" she and her husband were also business owners for over 25 years.
She then later retired from "GM" with 32 years of service. After retirement in her spare
time, she went on to be a head pastry chef at Ryans in Raymore, Missouri. After leaving
Ryan's she continued to explore her love of traveling.
She leaves to cherish her memories three siblings Winnetta Guthrie (William) Upper Marlborough Maryland, Joseph Kingyon Jr.and Tommie Kingyon of KCMO, one daughter Patreece Kirkland (Russell) of Raymore, Mo., Three sons Darren R. Williams of KCMO, Ralph V. Williams (Lynn) of Harrisonville, Mo., Alvin Williams of KCMO, two daughters-in-laws, Tammy Williams of Maryland, Mable Williams of KCMO and a very "special" granddaughter D'Angela Williams of KCMO.
She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and is also a great great grandmother, "Four Generations". She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
