Eunice Turner, better known as "Shug' and "Grandma", was born on February 6, 1948 in St. Joseph, LA to John Scott and Eunice Skinner Turner. She was preceded in death by both parents, four sisters and one brother. She departed this life and earned her wing's on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

Eunice earned her high school diploma from Tensas Rosenwald High School.

Eunice was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, a dedicated sister and auntie and all around great friend. She loved sitting on the front porch and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and traveling.

Eunice was married to Herman Turner on March 30, 1972, to this union three children, Kevin, Devin and Eunice were born.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Herman Turner;three children. Kevin Turner (Chantel) of Kansas City, MO, Devin Turner (Irene) of San Diego, CA and Eunice Turner-Jones (Antoine) of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Kevin Turner Jr. (Alexis) of Kansas City, MO., Arieanna Martin of Kansas City, MO and Ameila Jones of Kansas City, MO.; one great grandson, Amir Turner; her brothers, Sylvester Scott and John Scott; a sister, Ruby Scott; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services Thursday, April 9, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
