Eva Mae L. Dillard was born on February 19, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leland Johnson and Eva Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Burt Dillard, daughter, Marsha Brown, son Burton Dillard and grandson Robert Brown. Eva was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, MO where she graduated from Lincoln High School. She met and married the love of her life, Burt Dillard who preceded her in death. She attended and was a life-long member of St. Matthew A.M.E, Zion Church. She worked in the medical field as an Registered Nurse and was employed at St. Luke's Hospital. She departed this life on July 7, 2021, at The Village At Carroll Park in Grandview, Missouri. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Winston (Winnie) Dillard, Antioch, TN; one sister Marion Lee (Mosty), Brown, Kansas City, Mo. and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 7th at St. Matthews AME Zion Church, 4400 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO. Visitation 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Interment Highland Cemetery.
