Obituary

Evangelist Judith Anne Pittman, 71, KCMO, passed away on April 14, 2016 at Kindred Hospital. She was born October 31, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her parents, Mr. Johnny Goust and Ms. Maquineater Clark, both preceded her in death. Judith was educated at Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She received Christ at an early age and later became a member of The Church of the Living God where she worked faithfully in the church as choir director, youth pastor and a food pantry volunteer. She was ordained and appointed as an Evangelist by the late Pastor Rolma Jones and later as Assistant Pastor by Pastor Courtney Wells.Evangelist Pittman loved to sing and as a professional Gospel singer, she was a member of the group 'The Israelite Singers of Kansas City'. Judith met her husband, Mr. Clemmie Pittman and married on September 7, 1967. She was employed by Internal Revenue Service, from which she retired. Mrs. Judith Pittman leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Clemmie Pittman; one son, Eric L. Pittman (Marie); three daughters, Janine Pittman, Nikita Wilson and Felicia Pittman-Cubit (Chris); nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, church family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on this website.
