Evelyn Delores Grines was born January 11, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Levi (Papa) L.V. and Odessa L. Brooks. She was preceded in death by both parents. Evelyn was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, MO and worked at Home Health Care with great honor, dedication, and a host of healthcare friends. Evelyn was a burst of fun, laughter, and smiles. She loved to go fishing, swimming, and walking her dog CoCo. She also enjoyed spending a great time with family and friends. Evelyn was the domino queen. She departed this life on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory Jermon Anthony Grines, Charlaun Grines, Carolyn Lashawn M. Grines, and CoCo Grines. Grandson Jermon Grines II, granddaughter Patricia Johnson, grandkids Anyiah Johnson, Karris Grines, and Khaiya Grines. Brothers: Prince (Elnora) Hunt, Jimmy Hunt, and Levander Brooks. Sisters: Shirley Moore, Carolyn Pickens, and Marilyn Brooks. A special cousin/brother Leotis Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
