Gerald B. Jordan "Jerry" departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Lukes Medical Center.

He was born on March 4, 1939 to Samuel Jordan and Mildred Martin Jordan in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jerry grew up in Kansas City, Mo. and attended the Kansas City Public School District. He began working with the Kansas City Public Works Department where he retired after 30 years of service.

Jerry met the love of his life Joyce and they were together for 67 yrs. He loved all sports, especially "The Chiefs" and loved traveling across country.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters Carol Wallace and Peggy Jordan, one brother Carlin "Baby" Jordan, two stepdaughters Sharon Green and Regina Morris.

Jerry is survived by his lovely wife Joyce Jordan, one sister Delores McLane, two stepsons Robert Morris (Tawnia) and Jeffrey Morris, one step-daughter Angela Collins, and a special cousin Thelma Collins, and his niece Denise Morris, was his loving caring medical home nurse.

Grandpa Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, nineteen grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren, fifty-three great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
