Gerald R. Robinson, 71, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born December 8, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Ezell and Emma Robinson, Gerald lived a life defined by quiet strength, humility, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Marco Robinson and Anna Goodwin(Mario) , his Mother, Emma Robinson; his brother, Nathan Robinson(Pat) and his sister, Debrah Cavole(Harry) all of Kansas City. He is also survived by his two grand-children, Austin and Aidan Goodwin, and will be remembered by a host of coworkers whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Ezell Robinson and by his beloved wife, Beate Robinson, whose memory he carried with him always.
Gerald proudly served in the United States Army and dedicated more than 40 years to St. Joseph Medical Center. His reliability, strong work ethic, and steadfast character earned him Employee of the Year honors and the deep respect of his colleagues. His career reflected a lifetime of commitment, perseverance, and pride in doing things the right way.
He found joy in sports, traveling, hiking, gardening, and appreciating the simple moments of everyday life. His care and devotion live on in the garden he planted at his mother's home and in the many lives he touched with his kindness and integrity.
Gerald will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his quiet dignity, and the lasting impact of a life well lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
