Gracie Mae Bonepart, 86, was born on July 10, 1931 to the union of James and Beatrice (Frederick) Johnson in Ivan, Louisiana. She was the eldest of nine children born to this union. Her parents, one brother, Lugene Johnson and a sister, Flora Rowe all preceded her in death. Gracie was educated in the Ivan, Louisiana public schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church . She was raised in a christian home and was taught to love and fear the Lord. Through all of this training Gracie, truly loved the Lord and enjoyed reading the bible. Gracie was united in marriage to Mose Allen Bonepart who also preceded her in death. She was an exceptional cook, her greatest love was southern food. She would often say, "all I want is some greens and cornbread". She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Gracie relocated to Kansas City, Missouri where she spent the past twelve years with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Linda Williams, Kansas City, MO; two sons, Randy Johnson and Milton Bonepart, Plain Dealing, LA; step-daughter, Eva Mae Thomas, Cullen, LA; one brother, Dave Johnson (Louise), Benton, LA; five sisters, Lee Ethel Cuba (Thurman) and Della Mickens (Reese), Dallas, TX, Maggie Ford, Plain Dealing, LA, Judy Johnson and Maudie Walker, Benton, LA; three grandchildren, Eric Williams, Shaka Long and Marlon Williams (Macy); five great grandchildren, Za'Kyah Williams, Eric Williams, Jr., Marlon Williams, Jr., Mari'ana Williams and Pierre Williams; aunt, Nina Fredrick , a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
