Gregory Michael Minor was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Seawall Lamont Minor Sr., and Gladys Patterson Minor on November 11, 1952.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, wife Janie Hester Robinson Minor, son Sylvester D. Robinson, brother Earl Clarence Minor, sisters Annette Minor and Bertha Austin.

Gregory was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District and attended Southeast High School. He was married to Janie Hester Robinson Minor.

He worked Construction for many years.

Gregory loved his family and had a very special love for his niece Stephanie Minor and nephew Kyle Reed. They were there made sure to provide anything he wanted and needed.

He passed away at home Saturday, October 14, 2023. He will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son Michael Conley of Kansas City, MO., daughter Yolanda Dale of Kansas City, MO, his siblings Lamont and Marva Minor, Lula and Leo Blount, Roxanne and Glen Harris, Marian and Timothy Wilkerson, Kevin Minor, Sharon and Mark Weaver, Karen Hollis, Byron Minor (Shara), Phillip Minor (Sheri) and Kelly and Bev Minor. Grandchildren Mikah Dale, Mekhi Dale Jr., Torrence Henderson, Syniece Robinson, Nakila Walters and Laresha Cheffen. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, and friends who loved him very much.
