Harold "Eugene" McKinney, Jr., 67, was called home by our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, following his battle with cancer. He was born March 18, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He lived the majority of his life in Kansas City, Missouri.

Eugene was a devoted member of Sterling Full Gospel Church. He retired from Progressive Metal in Kansas City, Kansas after working 22 years.

Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Betty McKinney (Hoard) and his brother, Jackie Hoard. He is survived by his father, Harold McKinney, Sr., of St. Joseph, MO; eight brothers, Billy Hoard, David McKinney (Charolette), Charlesreece McKinney, Kenneth Hoard (Michelle), Randy McKinney, Kevin McKinney (Trina), Brian McKinney and Jody McKinney (Heather); three sisters, Marlene McKinney, Tammy Starr (Roy), and Lilli Thaxton (Paul); a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces.
