Harold Steven Watkins, 74, KCMO, passed away on December 26, 2017 at Truman Medical Center. He was the youngest of six children born to the late Louis Watkins, Sr. and Rosemary Shallowhorn-Watkins in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 20, 1943.

In 1962, upon finishing high school, he served in the United States Air Force for four years. He then went to work as a Train Conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad from which he eventually retired.

Harold was married to Ms. Sylvia Marie Watkins, who preceded him in death in 2003. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dominos, and attending family gatherings.

Harold leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Cynthia Rodolph (Michael), Eva Phelps (Dusty), Sandra Russell, Tracey Joseph (Antonio), Sharon Williams, and Denise Maynard; his eldest brother, Louis Watkins, Jr., and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other family, and friends. He will be dearly missed by them all.
