Henry Lamar Duncan, 62, passed away on June 6, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Henry He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 17, 1956 to Daniel Duncan, Jr. and Bernice Duncan who both preceded him in death along with two siblings, Ted Duncan and Mollie J. Jackson.

Henry accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age and attended Pentecostal Church of God in Christ where he served for many years during good and bad health.

Henry worked various jobs until his health prevented him from working. Henry's passion was chess and he loved playing person to person as well as online. You could always count on Henry to show up at family functions with his personal chess set- ready to play.

Henry is survived by his only child, daughter Alawnna Duncan; siblings, Jimmy M. Duncan (Bebe), Phillip E. Duncan, Sr. (TC), Pearlie A. Taylor (Curtis), Linda Wilson, Arthur D. Duncan (Denise), Geraldine Hutton (Rodney), Marvin E. Duncan (Lisa), Darryl E. Duncan (Dana) and a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
