Herman L. Brown, 63 of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. Herman Brown was born on December 7, 1957, in Atchison Kansas to Herbert Brown and Willetta Bethea. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Brown. He was educated in the public schools of Atchison, Kansas. He accepted Christ at an early age, attending churches of the Baptist denomination. Herman, at one point in his life worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken, but he was always self-employed as a handyman. Among his hobbies and the things, he liked to do were: Watching westerns, playing darts, listening to old-school music, dancing, and of course, watching the Kansas City Chiefs. Herman "Do-Rag" Brown departed this life on November 11, 2021, at Research Medical Center. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory; mother, Willetta Bethea; son Percy Doss; three brothers, Andrew H. Brown, Oscar G. Bethea, and Quincy E. Brown, all of Kansas City MO, and a host of other relatives and friends. A Visitation only will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, 2:30 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
