Hilton Johnson III, 61, KCMO, passed away on March 15, 2018. He was born March 5, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama to the union of the late Hilton L. Johnson, Jr. and Erma (Webb) Johnson. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kelly L. Webb; one son, Hilton L. Johnson IV and a grandson, Ke'von Watson.

"Lee Lee", as he was affectionately known by family and friends, lived most of his life in the Kansas City area. He was educated in Kansas City public schools and was a graduate of Manual High School.

Lee Lee accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop #56. He later united with Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Emanuel A. Johnson and current Pastor Donald W. Givens.

Lee Lee was employed as a paralegal for many years for Attorney Richard Beitling. He formerly worked as an underwater welder for Pullman Trail Mobile Services. In his pastime, he enjoyed watching sports and was an avid tennis and basketball player.

He leaves to cherish his memory: children, MO; Hellen A. Davis and Cecilia R. Cochran both of Kansas City, MO, Hilton L. Johnson IV of Kansas City; two brothers, Alphonso C. Johnson of Tampa, FL and Kerman F. Johnson of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Gwendolyn A. "Gwen" Johnson of Kansas City, MO; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, March 24, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
