Howard Leroy Lovelady was born on October 28, 1948, in Forest City, Missouri. On June 27, 2026, he peacefully entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a lifetime of treasured memories and a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter.

On September 22, 1976, Howard married the love of his life, Lorraine Lovelady. Together they shared many wonderful years of marriage, building a home centered on love, faith, and family until Lorraine's passing on October 29, 2020. Their devotion to one another remains a beautiful example of enduring love.

Howard dedicated 25 years of service to the Marriott Hotel, where he worked in hospitality. He was respected for his dependability, friendly spirit, and commitment to serving others. After a rewarding career, he retired in 2017.

Howard found joy in the beauty of God's creation. He loved spending time outdoors and had a special affection for wildlife and animals. Whether caring for his chickens, ducks, dogs, swans, and many other animals, or simply admiring the changing seasons, he found peace in nature. His animals were not just pets, they were beloved members of his family.

Howard was known for his warm heart and wonderful sense of humor. He loved making people laugh and had an amazing ability to brighten any room with his smile, playful jokes, and kind spirit. He believed that life was meant to be enjoyed, and he shared that joy with everyone around him.

Above all else, Howard cherished his family. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with those he loved and watching his family grow through each new generation.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Howard, Marcus, Brian, Alex, Michael, Angela, Kimberly, Lisa and Sandy. Grandchildren Faith Lovelady, Jaliyah Lewis, Jeremiah Lewis, Isaiah Lovelady, Christopher Lovelady, Niryah Lovelady, Alexia Lovelady, Angel Lovelady, Sharezmae Lovelady Fane, Ikahya Fane, Nazir Fane, Kellie Pollard, Renae Lewis, Johnie Brooks, Claviana Lewis, TaShay Lovelady, Ashley Howell, Jessica Howell, Thomas Roberts & Great Grandchildren: Jordan, Jason, Joshua, Journei, Elijah Pollard, Paul Pollard Jr., Hannah Pollard

His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
