Hubert Bernard West passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Hubert was born to the union of Tillman West Sr. and Lida D. Bradley from Mississippi on June 23, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a nephew. Hubert grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District. He graduated from Paseo High School. He was a United States Marine 1974-1977. He then worked for a chemical company 15 years. He attended Paradise Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Glasgow and then later attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Kim Gladney. He later joined Sunlight Missionary Baptist church 2017 until 2019 under the leadership of Rev. Ricky Rambo. Hubert loved cars and he loved working on cars as well. He leaves to mourn his loss two sisters: Jackie Wilson and Carmen West. His sister-n-law Deborah West; nieces Alicia Rambo (Howard), Deonah West, great niece Lashayla Anderson, and great- great niece Laila Anderson. A nephew Louis Wilson Jr. (Danielle) and great nephew Louis Wilson III and a host of relatives and friends. Private Disposition.
