Ian Cyril LeDoux, 62, KCMO, passed away on March 6, 2017 at the home. He was born March 9, 1954 in Georgetown, Guyana to Hebert and Therese 'Joan' LeDoux, the second of seven children. Ian came with his family to the United States in 1974. He served in both the United States Army and the Army Reserves from which he was honorably discharged. He later attended Penn Valley Community College. Ian retired from the Kansas City Police Department. After retirement, he operated multiple small businesses painting and rehabbing house. Ian enjoyed outdoor activities. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by: his children, Cyril A. LeDoux (Joni M.), Nigel P. LeDoux, and Tyler A. LeDoux (Danyel B.); siblings, David LeDoux (Zena), Sandra LeDoux, Donna LeDoux-Fowler (James), Judy LeDoux-Bumpus, Michael LeDoux (Karen) and Kenrick LeDoux; five grandchildren, Cyril A. LeDoux, Jr., Maximillian R. LeDoux, Denise A. LeDoux, Maximus A. LeDoux, and Scarlett S. LeDoux; fifteen, nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 7:00 p.m. at City Church. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E.
