Ida L. Anderson, 86, passed away on July 26, 2019 at the home. She was born October 12, 1932 to the union of Turner and Mary Lee Lewis in Denison, Texas. Both parents and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Ida was educated in the public schools of Denison, Texas. She furthered her education and began working in the medical field as a CNA. She later moved to the Kansas City area where she made her home for several years.

Ida was united in marriage to Carl F. Anderson, Sr. who also preceded her in death. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who loved to cook. She will greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Wendell Lewis of Kansas City, MO and Carl Anderson of Moberly, MO; two daughters, Beverly Brigham (Duane) and Barbara Wimley both of Kansas City, MO; one brother, J.C. Lewis, Jr. of Dallas, TX; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Graveside services Saturday, August 3, 2:00 p.m. at XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
