Inez grew up in rural Blytheville, Arkansas. She graduated from Harrison High School in Blytheville in 1968. In the year 1967, influenced by her sister Hazel Clark, Inez learned Biblical truths by attending Bible studies while temporary residing at her sister's house. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 19, 1974. Her husband Mose expressed his love for Jehovah through water baptism on November 30, 2013. Their marriage was thereby strengthened as both had goals to serve Jehovah. Ecclesiastes: 4:9, 10. Their marriage lasted over 50 years.

Inez worked for the City of Merriam, Kansas for 23 years as a Code Enforcement Officer/Housing Inspector. She was a certified member of the Kansas Association of Code Enforcers (KACE) and the American Association of Code Enforcers (AACE). She served as secretary of KACE and editor of the association's monthly newsletter. She received many awards and acknowledgements from those organizations. In her job with the City of Merriam, she performed many duties and developed a rental housing program for the city based on current housing and building code regulations.

Inez had several interests and hobbies. She loved to cook large meals for her family and friends. She also liked gardening, creating beautiful flower gardens, which remined her of Jehovah's promises of an earth wide paradise in the future for faithful servants. Another hobby was canning fresh fruit and vegetables which she learned from her mother. She enjoyed giving jars of jams and other canned items to her family and friends.

Inez will be dearly missed by her family and friends and especially her husband who took special care of her during her illness.

Revelation 21:4: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
