Infant Jo'Niyah Green blessed this Earth on December 11th, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri, at St. Lukes Hospital to Joseph Wesley Green and Shavonte' Chantel Jackson. She was lifted into God's hands on April 5th, 2018 shortly after her baptism on that day.
Jo'Niyah battled her way into this world and fought until the day she decided to be at peace, just short of four months old. She arrived a month earlier than she was supposed to and was a joy since day one. Her smile made you smile, her laugh made you laugh. Not too long after she
joined us, it was learned that she had a failing liver. Her mother was informed that she would eventually need a transplant at some point in
her life, unfortunately, it was not certain when it would be needed. In an effort to prolong the need of a transplant, she overcame a major surgery
on her liver on March 14th, 2018. Our precious baby held on for as long as God would allow. However, her eyes and smile live on forever.
Jo'Niyah is survived by her parents, Shavonte' C. Jackson and Joseph W. Green Jr; sister, Brooklynn B. Green; brothers, Jaelyn A. Jackson and
Ashton Jackson; maternal grandparents, Barbara A. Bates and Curtis C. Jackson; paternal grandparents; Ann Burton and Joseph W. Green Sr.
Niyah was also loved by her aunts, uncles, cousins and host of relatives.
