James Edward Hansbrough III, was born on September 20, 1955 in St. Louis,

MO; the second child of the late James E. Hansbrough II and Zenna Mae

Hansbrough. He was born with an incredible talent for art and thus moved

to Kansas City, MO at an early age to attend the Kansas City Art

Institute. He was known for his incredible drawings, his love for people

and beautiful heart and spirit. He served The Plaza for almost 30 years as

a beloved Security officer. He loved and cherished his late wife Cheryl

Hansbrough with all his heart and soul as well as his family and friends.

He departed this life peacefully on Wednesday May 22, 2024. He will be

greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
