James Russell Price, Jr., 80, passed away on May 20, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born April 9, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to James R. Price, Sr. and Dovie M. (Brown) Price. He was precede in death by his parents; sisters, Norma J. Lane Price, Peggy Price and a niece, Robin Price James was educated in the public schools of Kansas City and attended Lincoln High School. After graduating in 1958 he entered the United States Marines. He received as honorable discharge as Lance Corporal in 1961. James started a career with General Motors after his time in the service and later retired to enjoy his many hobbies. He had a love for building motorcycles, photography, along with many other things. He loved to travel and capture pictures from everywhere he had been. He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Jane' BArfield; three grandchildren, KieErra Barfield, Darious Barfield and Destinie Barfield; nephews, Gary Price, Sr., Michael Price, Sr. and Gilbert Lane, Jr.; nieces, Cheryl Price, Kim Lane and Deborah Lane; a host of other family and many friends. Funeral services Saturday, June 2, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
