Ja'Mesha Me'cheal Glass "Meme" was born February 22, 1995 in Kansas City, Kansas to her beloved parents, Jason and Angela Glass. Ja'Mesha went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2019. She was twenty four years old.

Ja'Mesha received her childhood education in the Kansas City, Kansas School District. She graduated from F. L. Schlagle High School in May 2013 and went on further to receive her CNA Certificate from Delores Homes Training Center, Inc. in Kansas City, Kansas. Her dream was to be a nurse, but her illness kept her from obtaining that dream.

Ja'Mesha was a true trooper. She fought a long and painful battle with sickle cell. Her life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. When Ja'Mesha was able, she would help her mother at Happy Faces Daycare even though she would say, "No Momma! This is not the job for me."

Ja'Mesha leaves to cherish her memories: two beautiful children, E'Niyah and Elijahjuan Ballard, Jr.; her loving parents, Jason and Angela Glass; three brothers, (Twin) Ja'Shone Glass, James Griffin, Jr., and Stefphon Burney; two sisters, SaVanna Burney and Sarah Burney; paternal grandparents, Adam and Linda Hogan; a special grandmother, Etheline Hill; her significant other, Elijahjuan Ballard, Sr.; and many she called her "brothers and sisters" along with a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins who were dear to her heart.

Funeral services Saturday, October 26, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
