Janice Kaye Gladney was born November 8th, 1944, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Eugene Culton and Jeaneta Garland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Curley Gladney Sr.; son Raymond Curley Gladney, Jr.; parents Eugene Culton and Jeaneta Garland; and brothers Walter Garland Sr. and Loomis Boulware.

In her spare time, Janice enjoyed doing ceramics and also teaching ceramic classes. She also enjoyed shopping at JC Penney's and baking cakes for her family. Janice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She attended Peace Lutheran Church until her health took a turn.

Janice started her battle with Alzheimer's in May of 2014. She fought a long battle until God called her home on Sunday, November 6th, 2022.

She is survived by her son Reynaldo Garland; daughter Lisa Gladney-Morrison (Tracy); her sisters: Shirley Hargrove, Deborah Culton-Eastman, and Goldie Culton; two brothers: Robert (Bob) Garland, and Bennie Garland Sr.; nine grandchildren: Carron Wooldridge, Ashley Garland, Deontae Morrison, Janlissa Gladney-Coppage, Richlyn Gladney, Mary Grace Wright, Raymond Gladney III, Kristen Roberts-Gladney, and Ja'Mal Gladney-Morrison (Miranda); seven great-grandchildren; Dwan (DJ) Wooldridge, Darnell (Peanut) Wooldridge, Arianna Wooldridge, Skylar Wooldridge, Raymond Gladney IV, Xiair Morrison, and Leilani Wood; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
