Jasmine Marie Elston, 22, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away on November 28, 2016. Jasmine Marie Elston, 22, was born in Houston, Texas on May 28, 1994, to the union of Terryl and Michele (Morrow) Elston. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Concord Fortress of Hope. She graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 2012 and continued her education at Pittsburgh State University. Jasmine was an avid basketball fan and enjoyed watching her sister play basketball. She was a true foodie who enjoyed all types of cuisines and loved to cook for her family. Jasmine showed great enthusiasm for reading and loved playing the piano. She had a flare for the fashion industry and cosmetology. She loved being with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Michele Morrow; father, Terryl Elston and step-father, David Morrow, Jr.; sister, Paige Elston; step-brother, Davon Morrow; grandparents, Earl and Donna Fowler, Nellrose Ali of Tulsa, OK, David Morrow, Sr. and Cheri Bradley; great grandmother, Georgia Reese of Excelsior Springs, MO; six great uncles and aunts, twenty uncles and aunts, and a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 12:00 p.m. at Concord Fortress of Hope. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.
