Jeanette Denise Collins, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on November 28, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Elbert and Claudia Collins. She departed this life peacefully on August 25, 2025, surrounded by love.

Jeanette's life was filled with joy, laughter, and adventure. She had a passion for spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling. Her spirit came alive in music, dancing, and exploring new places. She was known for her warm smile, her sense of humor, and her ability to brighten the lives of everyone she encountered. Above all, Jeanette cherished being a devoted mother and grandmother, pouring love into her children and grandchildren every day of her life.

She leaves to honor her memory her life partner, Trevor Crosdale; her children, Eric Collins, Nyauna Cravens (Daelon Cravens), Malcolm Crosdale, Marcus Crosdale (Ashley Crosdale), Nikiyah Crosdale, Nikisha Crosdale, and Nneoma Crosdale; her bonus children, Ranava Williams, Rashidi Crosdale, Patrice Crosdale, and Amo Crosdale; and her fifteen precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeanette is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Archie Morris, Regina Robinson, Ray Charles Bedford, Delores Harding, Germaine Collins and Dewayne Collins , along with a host of family members and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Jeanette's legacy is one of love, laughter, and strength. Her presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her light continues to shine through those she loved so dearly.
