Jeffrey Emanuel Jones was born October 27, 1984 to his loving parents, Emanuel and Yvonne Jones. He passed from this life to eternal life at the age of 35 on March 1, 2020. His father, Emanuel Jones, preceded him in death.

Jeffrey professed his love for Christ at an early age at Second Missionary Baptist Church. He later joined City of Truth where he continued his faith journey.

Jeff, as he was affectionately known, attended Grandview High School where he excelled at Basketball and Track. Jeff graduated from high school in 2003. He pursued postsecondary education at DeVry Institute where he graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He served in the Accounting field for the rest of his career.

Jeffrey was an amazing father to his son, Sean, and his daughter, Leah, and his "adopted" son Jaylin. He encouraged them to work hard and follow their dreams.

Jeff possessed many gifts and talents, one of his greatest being the natural ability to bring instant joy and laughter to those around him. This gift was apparent as soon as he learned to talk. He loved his

"Mama" and was always by her side. His joyous spirit and infectious laugh will be missed by his family and by all who were blessed to come in contact with him.

Mr. Jeffrey Jones leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted mother, Yvonne Jones; son, Sean Phillips; daughter Leah Jones; special son, Jaylin Jones; two god sisters, Amber Bryant and Aerin Flournoy(Josh); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, March 7, 2020, 12:00 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church of Grandview. Longview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. at the church. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
