Jesse Eric Mason, 57, KCMO, passed away on February 13, 2017. He was born May 5, 1958 to John S. Dulley and Selma Mason in Kansas City, Missouri. His loving mother preceded him in death. Jesse received his formal education in the Kansas City public school system, where he excelled in his studies. Jesse enlisted i the United States Marines on August 21, 1976 and served until November 10, 1982, when he was honorably discharged. He then enlisted in the United States Army on January 16, 1984 and briefly served until May 7, 1984, again being honorably discharged. Upon separation, Jesse made his home in Los Angles, California for many years. He returned to Kansas City, Missouri later in life and was employed by the Veteran's Administration Medical Center until 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, John S. Dulley of Kansas City, MO; stepmother, Margaret Dulley of Kansas City, MO; brothers, John Paul Dulley and Adonish L. Mason both of Kansas City, MO; sister, Gina Marie Love of Kansas City, MO; stepbrothers, Paul Haynes of Atlanta, GA and Michael Haynes of Dallas, TX; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Monday, February 20, 1:30 p.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
