Joe Annie Robinson was born on March 19, 1945 in Ruston Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Bonner, and sister,

Ruby Albany. She was educated in public schools of Louisiana. Joe

Annie graduated from Alto High School. She was a member of Rising

Star Baptist Church until she took ill. She was in the Senior Choir. She

was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Carondelet Manor for

many years.

Joe Annie married her high school sweetheart, Howard Lee, on April 22,

1968. They were married for 57 years. From this union, three children

were born. Howard Shindale, Kimberly Lavette, and Tara Trujuan.

Joe Annie is best described as a lover. Her love was great. She impacted

all she came in contact with. She never met a stranger. She loved to

talk. Joe Annie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Each of

the grandchildren says they are the favorite. She also liked to play bingo

and cards. She loved the Lord!

Joe Annie departed this world on May 22, 2025 at her home

surrounded by loved ones. She leaves to cherish her love and

memories: her husband, Howard Lee Robinson; three children, Howard

S. Robinson., Kimberly L. Thompson (Terrell), Tara T. Johnson (Corey) all

of the Kansas City area. Her sister, Ardie Miles of Winnsboro, Louisiana;

Nine grandchildren, Fiona, Alicia, Dre, Monshae, Lakendra, Kiesha,

Tonea, Tonasia, and Corey Jr.; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one

great- great- grandson. She also leaves her brothers-in-law, sisters-in

law, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.
