Reverend Dr. John Akinwale was born to Mr. Joseph Akinwale and Mrs. Sabana Akinwale of Lagos State,
Nigeria. Dr. Akinwale migrated to the United Stated and educated at Northwest Missouri State University, Central Michigan University, UMKC, University of Northwestern, St. Paul, Minneapolis, and at Bethel University.
Dr. John Akinwale was a retired Medical Scientist and researcher. He was the founder and CEO of the African Chamber of Commerce where he recruited Doctors and nurses for humanitarian medical missions to Africa. Also, he was a Health and Life Coach to help people to live healthier. He was a community builder and collaborated with political, social and police to address needs locally and internationally. He was philanthropist and sponsored acquisition and delivery of vital medical equipment to Africa.
Dr. John Akinwale was also a vibrant and eloquent teacher and preacher of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was the co-pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship, Kansas City, Missouri. He had burden for lost people to become saved and escape life in hell. He often went to minister to residents of nursing homes across the Kansas City area.
He was survived by: WIFE, Mrs. Funmilayo Grace Akinwale.
CHILDREN: Mrs. Funmilayo Akinwale, Mrs. Busola Akinwale, Mr. Emmanuel Oyeniran, Mr. Babatunde
Akinwale, Mr. Favour Akinwale and Mr. Fortune Akinwale.
BROTHERS: Mr. Emmanuel Akinwale, Prophet Kehinde Akinwale, Pastor Tosin Ojelade and
SISTERS: Mrs. Elizabeth Ogunrinde and Mrs. Adejoke Akinwande.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 1, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation from 9 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared at our website. Due to COVID-19 face masks, and social distancing is required.
