John Edward Nix, 47, passed away on June 30, 2018. He was born December 30, 1970 to Edward White and Odessa Nix in Kansas City, Missouri.

As a lifelong area resident, John attended the Kansas City Missouri public schools and was a graduate of Southeast High School. He was employed as a construction worker for the Pipefitters Local Union.

John was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He enjoyed working on cars and listening to music.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Jason Nix of Kansas City, MO; father, Edward White of Kansas City, MO; mother, Odessa Nix of Kansas City, MO; three brothers, Victor Maurice Nix (Tanya) of Lee's Summit, MO, Tommie LeSears (Jessica) of Kansas City, MO and Terrance Allen (Stephanie) of Lenexa, KS; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
