Johniece Lynn Daniels, 39, passed away on December 14, 2018 at St. Luke's Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1979 in Kansas City, MO to Glenda Daniels and Tilford Washington. She wa is preceded in death by her father.
Johniece grew up loving to sing and dance in the T.B. Watkins housing project where she was introduced to the Kansas City Marching Cobras and danced in President Clinton's Inauguration Parade. She was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri school system attending Metropolitan Advanced Technical High School (Metro Tech) and graduated with the class of 1997. After high school she attended Penn Valley Community College where she studied to be a certified nurse's assistant. Johniece worked as a nurse's assistant for many years which landed her at Research Medical Center where she was a devoted employee and worked with many people that she loved and called friend.
Johniece gave birth to two beautiful children Malek and Makensi who she loved with every inch of her soul. She loved to watch the Chiefs with Malek every Sunday after church and loved to spoil Makensi with manicures and pedicures every chance she could.
Johniece accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She loved and believed in God. She also loved to be the life of the party. Her laugh was infectious and her smile would light up the room.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two beautiful children, Malek Daniels and Makensi Daniels; her mother, Glenda Daniels; three brothers, Laron Daniels (Kimberly), Craig Jones, Sr., and Dana Jones; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and adored friends.
Funeral service Friday, December 21, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
