Johnny Lee Webb, 70, was born October 25, 1946 in Charleston, Missouri to Allen and Georgia Annie Mae Webb. He was lovingly called Uncle Yeat or Johnny's Boy by everyone that knew him. He served in the military for many years and was employed by Ford Motor Company - Claycomo for over 20 years. Johnny was a member of Skylight Baptist Church. He loved to laugh, read and was often called a walking encyclopedia. He could engage in a spirited conversation on a myriad of topics on any given day. Johnny passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen D. Webb; mother, Georgia Webb; brothers, Willie D. Webb (twin), Mike Webb, and Preston Webb; and sisters, Nelline Smith, Louise Taylor, and Lola Belle Webb. He leaves to cherish his memory: four children, Marnita 'Nita' (Paul) Tinch of Bloomington, IL, Alan (Dawn) Webb of Austin, TX, Julia Webb-Carter of Plano, TX, Antwan (Meshia) Powell of Kansas City, KS; three brothers, Allen (Connie) Webb Jr. of Illinois, Rev. Jimmie (Earline) Webb of Missouri, and George Webb of Arkansas; four sisters, Helen Pryor, Valerie Webb, Arabella Miles, and Frances Webb all of Kanas City, MO; fourteen grandchildren, Brandon, Ciara, Leticia, Taylor, Alaina, Tyson, Aliyah, Aaron, Tachelle, Savyan, Xavyer, Laylah, Joshua, and Annalisa; seven great grandchildren, special niece and nephew Angela (King) Turner and Darius Pryor, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
