Julie Lynn Rhodes came into the world on July 21, 1967, in Kansas City, Missouri, as the daughter of Thomas and Leona Rhodes. Her formative years were spent in the Grandview public school system, where she developed a passion for exploration and adventure, ultimately leading her to pursue a career as a travel agent.

She was widely known for her warm and nurturing personality, always putting the needs of her family and friends first, including her cherished cat, "Snuggles," and her adored granddaughter, Amethyst.

Julie's time on this earth came to a close on October 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Julie is survived by her son Michael Rhoades, mother Leona Rhoades, brother Russ Rhoades, granddaughter Amethyst Chalender, and many others who will greatly miss her.
