Obituary

With profound sadness and enduring love, we celebrate the life of Juvonie Eugene Minor Jr.,a beautiful soul

whose time on this earth touched countless hearts andleft a legacy that will live on for generations to come.

Juvonie was born on September 6, 1993, a Labor Day blessing at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City,

Missouri, to his devoted parents, Daphne Bishop and Juvonie Mi nor Sr. From the very beginning, he brought a

radiant light and joy to everyone around him. His laughter, spirit, and love for life were magnetic- he never

met a stranger and welcomed all with warmth, sincerity, and his signature smile.

Juvonie received his education through the Center School District #58, graduating with pride and

determination. With a mind for innovation and a heart for service, he pursued higher education in Cyber

Security at American Intercontinental University, always striving for excellence and growth.

As a young man, Juvonie gave his life to Christ at Straightway Missionary Baptist Church in the 1990s, laying

the foundation for a life guided by faith, compassion, and purpose. He later joined Greenwood Missionary

Baptist Church, where he worshipped alongside his family and found strength in community and fellowship.

Juvonie's life was rooted in love - love for God, love for his family, and love for becoming the best version of

himself. He firmly believed in family, fatherhood, self-care, and aspiring for greatness. He was a proud and

loving father to his "Powerpuff Girls" - Kelis, Lilyanna, and Navayah- and dedicated himself to creating

precious memories and moments with them. His bond with his children was unbreakable, and they were the

light of his life.

Juvonie was a man of many passions. He cherished his pets, had a deep love for podcasts and social media, and

found joy in creating videos with his grandmother. Professionally, he contributed his talents to Harley

Davidson and later worked as a forklift driver with SAIA, where his hard work and reliability made a lasting

impression.

He was friendly, laid-back, and outgoing - a natural connector whose friendships ran deep. His friends were

like family, and his loyalty was unwavering. To Kelsey and Antonyque, the loving mothers of his children

your presence in his life was cherished and honored, and we extend our love to you both.

Juvonie was preceded in death by beloved family members: Vivian Bishop, Keetou Minor,Pierre Parker,

Richard Minor Jr., Marcus Bishop,Adriene Bishop, and Marcus Bishop Jr. We take comfort in knowing he has

reunited with them in peace and glory.

He leaves behind a family who will continue to honor his life with love and remembrance including his

daughters, Kelis Minor,Lilyanna Minor, and Navayah Reed; his parents, Daphne Bishop and Juvonie Minor Sr.;
