Karen Hardy,61, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 61. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Miller, daughter, Le'Cletia Hardy, grandchildren, Lailah Hardy and Cameron Hardy Jr.

Karen was born in Kansas City, Missouri and worked mostly in customer service, childcare and social services. Karen took great joy in spreading laughter and happiness to others but of all things she took the greatest joy in sharing her faith in God. She was not shy about sharing her faith with family, friends and even strangers. Karen will be remembered for her prayers of "Safe Angels" which she would pray over family and friends who were traveling to and from gatherings.

Karen is survived by her children, Cameron Hardy, Kiera Hardy and Kristen Hardy; mother, Sally Miller; sisters, Diedre McCorkle and Charla Graham, nieces, Nia Braden and Brooke Braden; nephew Mark Braden; grandchildren, Asia Hardy, Trinity Wilkins, Shiloh Hardy, Shemar Hardy and Shakar Hardy and host of cousins, relatives and friends.

While it is not our choice to have a private funeral, it is in the best interest of all that the number of invites be limited. A private service will be held at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Home at 9100 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64138, on May 2, 2020. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
