Katheryn Thomas was born March 18, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Charlie and Estella Thomas. She departed this life November 8, 2023.

She was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers: Bernard Thomas, Ronald and Rodney Thomas, three sisters: Hazel Soil, Sandra Thomas, and Debra Stovall.

Katheryn attended school in the Kansas City Missouri School Public School District graduating from Paseo High School Class of 1974. She worked for Hallmark Cards, the Kansas City Missouri School District and Swope Ridge.

She attended Victorious Life Church under the leadership of Bishop Lee A. Tolbert until her health began to fail.

She loved looking good, listening to soft music, working puzzle books, and being around family and friends. She was very entertaining, and you could always count on her to leave you a "I love you" voicemail.

She leaves to cherish with her memories two sisters: Bertha Morris and Linda Friday, two sons: John Thomas, and Michael Thomas (Monica), 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
