Obituary

Kenesha Dynae Manning, 25, was born June 2, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri to Kenneth Manning, Sr. and LaTonya Tatum. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Tatum and an uncle, Donell Manning. Kenesha was educated in the public schools of KCMO, Center, Hickman Mills and Raytown School Districts and graduated from Raytown High School in 2010. From there, she received her certification to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. Kenesha gave her life to Christ at an early age. She became a faithful member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the youth director, choir member and praise dancer. Kenesha was employed with TNC Community and later worked for Austen Dooley Company, caring for the mentally disabled which was something she loved doing. Kenesha was the most sweetest, kindest, lovable person you would ever come across. Although she seemed quiet, she was a ball of fun. Her smile was encouraging and supportive, and her laugh would make you laugh. Kenesha departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the University of Kansas Hospital, with her mother and brother at her bedside. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, LaTonya Tatum; father, Kenneth Manning (Nikki); three brothers, Delshaun Manning, Kenneth Manning, Jr. and Nikko Manning; god sister, Tiffany Hylton; grandparents, Sandra Tatum (Ben), and George and Loretta Neal; great grandparents, Russell and Joan McIntosh; four uncles, LeRon Tatum, Sr., LeMell Tatum, George Neal and Cameron Neal; two aunts, Monique Neal and Tomeisha Manning; two nephews, Adonis Manning and Giovanni Manning; two special cousins, Tiara McIntosh and DeSha Tatum; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services Friday, January 5, 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E.
