Obituary

Kenneth D. Ford, 58, was born on June 30, 1961 to Paul White and Daisy P. Ford in Huntsville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy P. Ford, step-father, Charles Bone, maternal grandparents, Joe and Sillar Mae Ford, nephew, Trenton Lacey Bone.

Kenneth moved to the Kansas City area as a child and was educated in the Kansas City public schools. He attended Lincoln College Prep. He furthered his education at Tarkio College to become a pharmacy technician. He also attended a local Bible College. He was a licensed minister and attended Sheffield Family Life Center, he was active in the Watchman on The Wall Ministry.

Kenneth was a bus driver for the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA). He received numerous awards for perfect attendance and as a master driver.He worked for the City of Kansas City Missouri as a surveyor in the engineering department.

Kenneth departed this life on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at K. C. Hospice House.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Terri Ford, of the home; two sons, Kendall Ford and Michael Ford, Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Jocelyn Thomsen (Kenneth), Belton, MO and Jasmine Ford, Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Charles Ford, Dennis Ford and Terrence Bone (Tara) Huntsville, AL, Andre Bone (Tara), San Diego, CA ;two sisters, Michelle Sibley (Wayne) and Lisa Battle, Huntsville, AL; brothers-in-law, Dwayne Rainey Kansas City, MO and DeAnthony Rainey (Nikki) Dallas, TX.; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Denise (Derrick), Toni Williams (Damon), Kansas City, MO and Genise Bartee (Mario) Lee's Summit, MO, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral service Sunday, June 28, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m at the chapel . Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
