Kenneth Andre Martin was born January 4th,1962 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leora Brown and Leroy Martin.
He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, one sister, a son and niece.
Kenneth (aka) Red Dog was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools, where he attended Southeast High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and football.
He held multiple jobs throughout his lifetime, one being with the Kansas City Water Department, he was also employed with Two Men and a Truck Moving Company until he became unable to work.
"Papa Red Dog" as his kids and grands would affectionately call him, loved spending time with his family. He loved playing the guitar or listening to music in his past time. He was a die-hard Chiefs fan, win, lose or draw that was his team. He stayed wearing a smile and if he could be of service he was definitely there, even if it was just to fuss or make you laugh.
Kenneth departed this life on August 20,2023 at his home.
Papa Red Dog is survived by one daughter Tanika Hollins of Kansas City, Missouri, four sons Kenneth Martin of Omaha, NE, Gerome King, Keaire and Keenan Martin of Kansas City, MO, one sister Regina Martin, three brothers, James and Mark Ross and Tony Martin, three granddaughters Ta'Kyiah Martin, Serenity Williams (Tim), Ga'Miyah King, four grandsons Brylan Martin, Marlando Hollins, Breland Martin and R.D; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
