Krysta Lynn Lewis was born on Dec 1, 1975, in Kansas City Mo to Kathy Lewis and Gary Johnson. Krysta was preceded in death by her beloved Grandparents Christine and Archie Lewis, Uncles Vernon Lewis, T. Michael Lewis, Gary Lewis, Special Cousin Brandon Smith. Krysta attended BW Shepherd and Trails West State Schools for the handicapped. She graduated with honors receiving a gold medal in Track/Field and for Bowling in The Special Olympics, Crowned Prom Queen; received certificates for being an Outstanding Employee and a Job well done. Krysta enjoyed her job stuffing straws into envelopes. After graduation Krysta enjoyed being around family, holidays, birthdays watching cartoons and tearing up magazines one page at a time. Krysta was always receiving you with a hug, kiss a smile or a pinch. Krysta always had a smile, only frowned when she was ready to eat or in pain. Krysta was also an inspiration to let us know that God is good no matter what your situation may be. She would want you to stay encouraged because as an infant she was given two years to live by a doctor, so God is in control and blessed her family with 44 more years. Krysta loved to travel with the family from the east coast to the west coast in the RV visiting amusement parks, fishing lakes, and boating with her grandparents in the pontoon. She leaves to cherish her memory parents Kathy and Gary Johnson, her brother Garan Johnson and Taylor, sisters Letoia (Lovie) Johnson, TaVona Johnson, niece Azlyn Johnson, Auntie Rita Smith, Uncle Ron (Olester) Lewis and a host of cousins, family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Visitation 10:00 a.m. – 11:00. Interment Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
