Lamon Edwards Clark-Bey, Jr., 23, KCMO, passed away on November 12, 2017. He was born February 17, 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lamon E. Clark, Sr. and Christine Jackson. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert G. Jackson and David Little-Bey, and uncles, Thomas Simmons, Jr. and Ja'Quan Harris. Known by his family and friends as "Buddah", Lamon attended Kansas City Charter Schools and was pursuing his G.E.D. At the age of 8, he joined the Moorish Science Temple of America. Lamon enjoyed playing video games and football. He loved to draw and even won an award for best drawing for UMKC Roos Mascot. Lamon was the life of the party and a joy to be around. He loved spending time with his children and family. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Lamiyah Thatcher-Clark, Amauri Grant-Clark, Lamon E. Clark III and Amiyah Clark; father, Lamon E. Clark, Sr. (Michelle); mother, Christine J. Jackson; grandfather, Leroy Edwards; grandmothers, Cheri Clark-Bey (nene) and Janice Gray; great grandmothers, Eddye Faye Clark and Ivory Mae Thomas; sisters, KiEssence Pelton, Lanaudia Stewart and Heaven L. Wade; aunts, Josette Wright, Janetta Baker and Timika Endsley; niece, Kie'Leis Pelton-Sims; Mama, Christie Harris; special brothers, Rai'mon Gilliam, Thomas Simmons and Brennan Harris; special cousins, Kiearra Clark, Brittany Clark, Mi'taia Clark and Thomari Simmons; the love of his life, Danshanette Hughes and a host of other family and friends.
