Lamont Dudley, age 63, was born on September 14, 1962, to Rose M. Hooker and William

H. Taylor, both of whom preceded him in death. Lamont lived a life rooted in dedication,

perseverance, and love for his family.

He attended and proudly graduated from Central High School. Lamont

enjoyed traveling throughout his life, he resided in Des Moines, IA. Eventually he moved to

Denver, Colorado his home for the majority of his adult years. Later, due to physical

challenges, he made the decision to relocate closer to family so he could receive the support

and care of those he loved most.

Lamont worked at Tyson Chicken for several years before building a respected career as a

Supervisor in Environmental Services with the Marriott Hotel.

His commitment and strong work ethic did not go unnoticed. He was acknowledged and

rewarded by the CEO of Marriott for his years of hard work, dedication, and outstanding

service.

In his personal time, Lamont enjoyed listening to music and relaxing while watching old

western shows. Music brought him joy and he loved many genres, including the legendary

pop artist Michael Jackson. T hose close to him also knew his love for praising and

worshiping the Lord.

Lamont was preceded in death by his Brother Dwayne Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers Jerome Dudley (KCMO ), McKinley Dudley

(Iowa),William Taylor J1: (Louisiana) and Harold Dudley (Iowa). He also leaves his sisters

Rose Davis (KCMO ), Leanna James (Iowa), Neioma Wellhouse (Colorado), Debra Harris

(Iowa), Idella Taylor (Raytown, MO), and Jaime Shelton (Overland Park, KS), along with

a host of extended family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their

hearts.

Lamont will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love of music, and the bond he

shared with his family. His memory will continue to live on through all who knew and loved

him.
