Larry Duvaughn Davis, 37, KCKS, passed away at the home on November 7, 2017. He was born December 20, 1979 to Larry Newell and Victoria Davis in Kansas City, Kansas. His mother, Victoria Davis preceded him in death. Larry was a lifelong area resident and was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas public schools. He was a maintenance worker for several years. He was a fun-loving, carefree young man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Larry Newell of Kansas City, MO; paternal grandmother, LaVoyne Newell of Bowdon, GA; maternal grandmother, Annie Swann of Kansas City, KS; brother, Marcus Chapell of Wedowee, AL; uncles, Bernell Davis, Eric Davis, Anthony Davis, Ricky Shockley, Lindsey Newell; aunts, Lisa Davis and LaDonna Fryer (Davis); great uncles, Bobby O'Hara, Norman O'Hara and Artis O'Hara; great aunts, Josie Brown (James), Mary Buchanan, Bernice Simmons (Eddie), Ann Glenn; great-great aunt, Ethel Terry; special cousin, Kimberly Evans (Marvin II) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
